Ftherm® Resting Tube

The rest tubes produced by ftherm are a group of SS316 modular tubes with jackets with different capacities. These tubes are connected with each other through flanges between modules.

The capacity of these tubes ranges from 2.5 liters to 300 liters. In addition, the pipe is also provided with a sieve plate, which has holes of different sizes between the flanges to adapt to the situation of using the same pipe to produce different products.

Sieve plates with apertures of 2.5 mm, 2 mm and 1.5 mm have a cumulative surface area of 5% to 10% of the inner diameter of the tube. The sieve plate can be clamped between any section according to the product requirements, and the diaphragm between the sections can be replaced at the same time.

The hot water circulation system that can be configured for the rest pipe will reduce the pressure on the system by circulating hot water in the rest pipe jacket. A warm water circulation system can be provided at the same time, which is composed of a 30 liter open water tank, a hot water circulation pump and a temperature circuit to maintain the set temperature in the production process.

When the crystal is dispersed in the liquid phase, the crystal structure is required to have time to grow and form the required consistency. The time required for the growth of the crystal structure is called the standing time. It depends entirely on the mixture used in the special fat and also determines the capacity of the rest tube. For example, the capacity of the rest tube required to make margarine and similar products is usually much smaller than that required for butter.

Ftherm ® Resting Tube adopts modular design, and its main features are as follows:

The circular horizontal section shall be made of 8 inch / 10 inch seamless steel pipe with a length of 1 meter or 1.5 meters.

The circular part shall be covered with a jacket and a controlled water circulation shall be provided in the jacket.

Both ends of the circular arc section shall be connected by flanges, and a sieve plate shall be installed between them.

The increase or decrease of the circular part shall increase or reduce the standing time of the product.

The Resting Tube unit(B unit) consists of multi-sections of jacketed cylinders to provide the desired retention time for proper crystal growth.
