Ftherm® control systerm (Computer Desktop Control Series)

The control system is equipped with German brand PLC and Swedish brand ABB frequency converter as standard to ensure trouble free operation for many years.

We have included for a fully automatic centralized control system, based on Siemens CPU1200 PLC; panels must be located in a dry Room.

 

Ftherm will design, build, inspect and test all the panels at our Shanghai office, ensuring all our panels are built to a very high standard.

 

All PLC, Control Panels and instrumentation hardware, detailed in the technical section below, will be supplied as part of this contract.

1. Technical Specification

1.1 Control Panels

2 piece of stainless steel, IP54 electric cabinet with PLC will be provided, it contains the PLC processor and communications modules and will be fitted with a forced air ventilation system. The approximate dimensions are 1500mm high X 800mm wide x 300mm deep. Cable entry will be via the bottom gland plate.

Control voltage for all control panels will be 24v DC. Motor starter circuits will be 220v AC.

 

 

The user supplies the power to the main electric cabinet.  STB will responsible distribute it to STB system

 

1.2 Human Machine Interface

 

2 Pcs 12”  OP/Siemens  touch screen

 

1.3 PLC software

 

All PLC software will be annotated and structured in a logical format, so as to provide an automation system that is easily understood by experienced maintenance personnel.

 

The software will be fully tested in Shanghai, prior to the start of commissioning.

 

A copy of the commissioned PLC software will be supplied to the client, when the system is handed-over. A second copy will be retained by Ftherm.

 

Each process is divided into a number of functions/programs. These functions/ programs are then divided into a number of steps and sub-steps. The PLC contains standard programs for control and execution of each function and program with step and under-step.

 

All automatic valves and motors will have a manual facility, allowing operation of individual valves and motors from SCADA.

 

Critical production parameters and maintenance functions will be password protected. There is no effect on the on-line control system during access level switchover. The following User Groups with their specific privileges are defined for the present project:

10% extra space for all IO cards. Certain space reserved for cabinet design.

 

Manual valves will have no feedback signal.
